Ry’lah is 7 years old and already demonstrating the kind of compassion and civic engagement that is a characteristic of older phenomenal young women. Rylah is a girly-girl who loves dressing up like a princess. Moreover, she delights in having other girls experience a sense of feeling special. A few years ago, she began gifting ribbons, socks, shoes, and dresses to neighborhood children after they said, "I wish I had one of those." Rylah literally gives the clothes from her back because she is loving and trusts that God delivers blessings in abundance. She is an entrepreneur who smiles when her parents and other elders refer to her as "Girl Boss". With missing front teeth, she embraces the words from her villagers by humbly acknowledging, "Yes, I am". She carries her own weight in her business Glittet'ry Gloss.

I invited Rylah on my show to explain how she shops, prices, and distributes merchandise that makes other people happy. Her self-confidence and gentle way of demonstrating strength, I believe, is valuable for other girls to see. She and her parents create a sense of home, safety, and wellness not only for themselves but for Rylah's gymnastics and cheerleading squad members as well. Rylah is a princess and the move-- and she's moving fast. As the bible encourages us all, she brings people along with her to experience love and the best of humanity.
